Create New Rules for SharePoint Search

In this articles I'll explain how to create the formatted image search results


1. Create an Image scope at the SharePoint Search.
2. Create New Rules for SharePoint Search.
3. Edit Search Web part.

 


Create New Rules for SharePoint Search.

Go to "SharePoint 3.0 Central Administration".

Afther, go to Shared Services Administration- > Your SSP -> Search -> Search administration -> Queries and Results - > Scopes -> Your Scope
And create your rules, like

FileExtension = JPG
FileExtension = GIF
FileExtension = PNG

 
Now go to Crawling -> Content sources -> at your source run full crawl
